Audio equipment is very important for your media ministry to have. If you record on cassette tapes, CDs, or both, your ministry needs to have audio equipment on-hand at all times so you’re always ready to record and duplicate your messages. Recording your messages on Professional Premium™ Audio Cassette Tapes is good because not everyone has a CD player, and using Digital Audio CDs helps get your message out to those with CD players. Pre-printed Audio Cassette Tape Labels are pre-printed, saving your ministry money.

But once your website is up, you may find yourself wondering how often you should update it. I have put together some general guidelines in determining how often your church website should have new content on it, but there’s a pivotal question you need to ask yourself before I can get to those guidelines:
What is the overall goal of your church website?
When you created your website, was your main goal to create a digital business card of your church? But once your website is up, you may find yourself wondering how often you should update it. I have put together some general guidelines in determining how often your church website should have new content on it, but there’s a pivotal question you need to ask yourself before I can get to those guidelines:

What is the overall goal of your church website?

When you created your website, was your main goal to create a digital business card of your church? Or, was your goal to let church members have a place to go where they can easily download and listen to your sermons? Did you want to create a whole online ministry to reach both church members and people all over the world via the Internet? Maybe you want to do more than one of these things, or maybe you want to incorporate all of this into your website. Either way, by answering the question “What is the goal of my church website?” you will be able to better gauge how often it should be updated.

Now that you know what the goal of your website is, you can see the different scenarios of how often to update it:

My website is a digital business card

If your website is a digital business card, you will only need to update it as often as your contact information changes. This includes changed church address, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. You’ll want to make sure your contact information is always updated so people can contact you.

My website is a place where people can come to listen to and download my past Sunday sermons

If you want a download center of your sermons, your website will need to be updated every Sunday, or after every time you record a sermon, to include your most recent sermons. Luckily, website plugins such as MessageShare simplify this process.

My website is an online ministry to reach both people inside and outside the church

If the goal of your website is to have an online ministry to enrich church members’ knowledge of God and to reach the lost, you’ll want to update your website several times a week. You might be scratching your head thinking of how you can create content several times a week, so here are some ideas: Create a pastor blog where the pastor blogs about things God is revealing to him, post Bible studies to go hand-in-hand with what church members are learning, post Youtube videos like testimonials and Christian music videos, the possibilities are endless.

My website is a combination of all of the above things

If your website is a combination of a digital business card, a sermon download center, and an online ministry, you will want to update your website as often as possible, or three to five times a week. Again, by creating a pastor’s blog or even individual ministry blogs, you will easily have more than enough content every week.

So what are you waiting for? Start that church website, figure out your website’s goal, and see people find your church, hear the Word of God through your sermons, and even be saved as a result of your website’s content!

In the past, it meant little to nothing, being as most people looking for jobs were smart enough to turn all privacy settings up on their Facebook to prevent any snooping. Now, apparently, it’s becoming a big issue for a company to see what you’re up to in your own private time. The latest scandal coming up is that some employers are asking for the Facebook passwords of their prospective employees.

The future of web technology is twisting and turning, but what does it mean for employers? In the past, it meant little to nothing, being as most people looking for jobs were smart enough to turn all privacy settings up on their Facebook to prevent any snooping. Even further in the past, most employers were not concerned with how people acted in their social networks.

Now, apparently, it’s becoming a big issue for a company to see what you’re up to in your own private time. The latest scandal coming up is that some employers are asking for the Facebook passwords of their prospective employees.

Where do we, as potential employees, get to cross the line? Should we be living lives that are totally devoid of any sort of “harsh opinion” as some would say? Would an employer not hire someone who has extremely Christian viewpoints? Would it bug an employer to see pictures up of someone taking communion? I mean, honestly, it’s not like they are shouting into a microphone in a public square just how they feel.

The basic concern is that companies should not be infringing on people’s private lives for the sake of a job. It’s absolutely outrageous and absurd for a company to want a Facebook password. Jobs seem to no longer be about your knowledge of the field, but more if you’re doing anything in your private life that a company doesn’t like.

Hopefully the law of the land will be able to throw away such measures for sure. But until then, people have to worry about what they post online, and that’s just not right.

The Web: Church Visitor Retention: Plain and Simple
Why Do We Have Good Friday?
#church #web #outreach #visitor retention #evangelism #good news
Startling Conversation. The other day I had a non-believer stop me and start a conversation that went something like this, “Hey, I think you have a pastor’s heart. Can I ask you a question?” And then my friend went on to say something rather startling, “Tell me why would anyone force their religion on another person who might not want it!”
What was my answer? It went something like this, “What if I told you it is not AT ALL a question of religion, or even comparing one religion to another? What if I told you that all the religions of the world are simply man made from their imaginations? But what if one is not man made but for REAL? What if God is REAL and He simply wants you to ...

What if God is REAL and He simply wants you to know how Him?“

Visitor Retention Program. Kingdom’s Visitor Retention Program makes telling the Good News of the Gospel very easy. It provides simple every day activities for fulfilling the Great Commandment and doing the Great Commission.

Easily inform your community about Jesus and the greatest Gospel message of all time

Present the Gospel to friends, family, and neighbors without saying a word

Spread the unfathomable love of God to all your hurting community

See more salvations from death to life

No Hype. I could hype you about the inexpensive cost and 100% money-back guarantee, but God’s guarantee in Isaiah 55:11 far exceeds that. Let’s skip the worldly stuff and cut to the chase. Ask yourself the most important question: “How much value do you place on just one soul saved from hell to heaven, and restored to the Lord?”

God’s Heart. Jesus’ heart of love breaks beyond what words can describe with each soul that dies without forgiveness of sins. If we were to feel His hurt, we too would weep in sobs in such love. Time is VERY short, and God is using all means, such as the following, to spread knowledge of Him.

Heaven’s Critical Question. Four year-old Colton Burpo, from the book Heaven Is For Real, asked his dad, pastor of their church, this question right in a funeral, “Dad, did that man have Jesus in his heart? You can’t get to heaven without Jesus in your heart!” No other question compares even the slightest to that one!!! We MUST ASK this question of everyone for whom God gives us the opportunity.

Hell’s Reality. Bill Weiss, from his book 23 Minutes in Hell, reveals for 23 minutes he had more than just an observational vision. The Lord removed all knowledge of his being saved, and placed him in hell to suffer actual torments in utter hopelessness of never escaping. Many unbelievers either joke about hell or do not believe in it. Sadly, many Christians don’t either. (Article cont’d.)

(Actually the compliment doesn’t really go to the VRP program or its instructors, but to Pastor W. himself and his church.) About half way through the program, he commented that he had been attempting to educate his church into doing outreach and had been unsuccessful for over 10 years. But upon taking his church through the friendliness exercises, they became very friendly with visitors on the inside. Friendliness became very comfortable to do. With natural ease, they took their friendliness to the sidewalks outside the church. And voila, just like that, the whole church started doing outreach! The community was all buzzing over the changes in his church. In a few short weeks, the VRP program did what a decade of sermons had attempted to do!

I come to you today to repent for my sins, to ask you, my audience, to forgive me for cutting holes in walls. I know, already, the Lord has forgiven me and my sin is already forgotten by Him, but I seek your forgiveness, as my audience, whether you have been with me or against me. I seek to be a man who no longer cuts through walls, not even here, in my special ministry call, to witness the truth of the Lord through the news. I seek to be like Joshua, and trust in God when he calls me to walk around the walls, to let God break down the walls in His time and His way.

I have been writing for years on the daily events of the world, from the persecution of Christians to the attack on Christ and his Way by the godless ideals of progressivism. In these writings, I have been swept up at various times in anger. I have relied on human tactics to help spread a narrative or invalidate one. These writings are available to all to see, and I will keep them posted so all can see the journey I have taken in my pursuit of being less Paul and more Christ.

I have sought, be it ever so imperfectly, to witness the Truth of Christ and, in my human understanding, to be a good, responsible citizen fighting to have my governments (local, state, federal, etc) reflect the Godly values of Christ’s Freedom. I sought to validate my beliefs, at times, on the Constitution and the founding principles of this nation, but now I seek to validate my beliefs in God’s Word alone, realizing that God is bigger than Constitutions, whether they intended to reflect his Godly truths of Freedom or not.

In this fight, I have sometimes taken, unwittingly, a ‘by any means necessary’ approach to fighting for what I perceived to be truth and the Freedom this nation was founded upon.

Do you know what you are called to do?

What is Gods call on your life?

1. Lead Worship and take Worship out to the Nations

2. Travel the World bringing the message of Gods Love to the Broken

3. Minister to abused, broken and hurting women.

4. Minister to Youth.

5. Write Worship Songs that not only minister to the Heart of God but lead people straight into His Presence.

6. Adopt

THIS is what I know the call of God on my life is.

Now that you have defined what God’s call on your life is there are a few things to be aware of.

1. DISTRACTION AND TEMPTATION ARE EVERYWHERE

The enemy would like nothing more than to distract you from Gods call on your life.

Do you think the enemy LIKES when you walk in Gods destiny for you?

OF.COURSE.NOT.

1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

When you are distracted from Gods Call on your life you are like a walking target for the enemy.

Distractions come in so many forms. It can come in the form of family, friends, your job, even ministry. Be aware.

Keep close to God and His heart and be constantly covering yourself in prayer.

If you begin to feel distractions coming in don’t be afraid to ask for help. Ask for prayer.

Make sure you have people covering you in prayer, especially those of you who are in Ministry.

2. The enemy wants to bring discouragement.

A discouraged heart is an easy target as well.

Build yourself up in Gods Joy.

Be in the Word. Be in Worship.

For me, I have been in this place recently. A place of deep discouragement. I called my Pastor who asked me, “Sierra, where do you find your most joy in God?” I said, “Worship”. He then challenged me that if that’s where I find my joy in God why wasn’t I pressing into Worship?

I know that for me when I Worship…God pulls me out of discouragement and I begin to feel Gods love for me as He encourages my Spirit with His Word, His love and His heart for me.

So, BE IN GOD’S WORD.

II Corinthians 4:7-9 – But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Galatians 6:9 – Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Do not let the enemy steal your joy!

As Christians, its easy to fall into temptations, distraction and discouragement. The enemy knows our weaknesses, the things that are easy to distract us with, etc. Be aware. Be watching.

Don’t kid yourself by thinking your exempt.

The devil HATES a Man/Woman of God who is CONFIDENT in their call and walk with God.

Avoid temptation, be aware of things that can distract you and take your focus off of God, and use Gods Word and encourage yourself in the Lord.

(Thanks to Pastor Sean Tymeson for preaching on this subject)

I have been really interested in Social Networking for a while now. Ive been watching communities growing on youtube, facebook and twitter. I have made connections with some of the greatest people through twitter, people I have never met and probably never will, old friends and new friends through facebook, and have joined discussions on youtube. Until a year ago I thought Social Networking mainly revolved around facebook and twitter, but then after talking with my friend Andrew Moore I learned that youtube is a huge resource for Christian Networking. People post video blogs, responses to each others videos, start discussion through comments and their inbox, etc. Youtube has become a very prominent witnessing tool as well as a tool for connecting with Christians worldwide.
Facebook, for me, is usually more for people I already know or have known in the past since its loaded with personal stuff. However, I have ...

However, I have made an exception in having a couple friends from twitter (that I enjoy tweeting with) that I had added. My Twitter account I follow any/all Christian tweeters, however I favor following Christians that are in ministry. Twitter is seriously an awesome tool for seeing what God is doing worldwide, what people are doing and what ministries are doing. I have had the privledge of networking with some pretty fantastic people through twitter. I think churches and ministries should use twitter because that allows other ppl in your area to connect with your church.

I think its great when I go to a church and see people using twitter during a sermon. I know some may think its disrespectful but I think its shows that they are listening and are tweeting out what is going on so other people can be involved. I enjoy getting on twitter and seeing that ppl are “promoting” their churches by inviting people to their servicesand typing quotes from the sermon and worship service.

In 2012 networking with other Christians is as easy as turning on your computer and connecting to the internet. Twitter especially is great for this. I have met some amazing, inspiring Christians on twitter who have challenged me in my walk with Christ, inspired me and motivated me. Twitter allows me to find people from all over the world who are Christians and network with them thru the internet! In 2001 this wasn’t even really possible. In 2012 we have Facebook, twitter, instant messenger, myspace (which is LAME!), and Blogging! I LOVE blogging, I love reading other peoples blogs. I enjoy reading what God is doing in other peoples lives all over the world. Reading blogs allows me a glimpse into the life of a person I have never physically met but have networked with online. The internet and social networking gives Christians from all over the world the means to communicate, connect and enjoy meeting other members of the Body of Christ worldwide! Twitter especially is an awesome resource for social networking. Facebook is more geared toward connecting with people you already know but twitter allows you to network with people you will probably never physically meet! In 2012 we have so many resources to connect, inspire, relate and grow together as the Body of Christ. The question is, are we using our resources? We are called to be in fellowship with one another so why not use all our resources to be in “fellowship” with more Christians than our church groups, friends, etc? The internet allows us to do this easily and we definitely should jump on the bandwagon. Media and Social Networking is a gift and I definitely want to use it as best as I can for Gods glory and what better way than to network with my brothers and sister in Christ? Blogging is also a great way to connect! Writing about what God is doing in your life, your church, etc is a great way to be in touch with others. Christians Forums as well, are a great resource. Use technology, media, social networking as part of your Christian walk. I love being able to easily network with the Church worldwide!

I’ve been researching the entertainment geared toward teens and am shocked at how many parents don’t follow what their kids are into.

Teen Fiction now…Twilight, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter…all popular series with themes of witchcraft, vampires, death, hatred, sex and with heroes who really have nothing to offer than an exciting read.

TV shows like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and 90210 glamorize teen sex and make it seem normal and if youre not having sex as a teen then you are a prude.

Music today is loaded with so much sex its insane. Katy Perry in her song Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) glamorizes a weekend of being so trashed and wasted she barely even remembers what happened and plans to do it all again the next weekend. Lady Gaga pushes the theme of being gay and that you cant help it, you were just Born This Way. Usher and pretty much every other male hip-hop artist out there sings about cheap sex, getting wasted, partying and one night stands.

As a parent you should be concerned about what is going into your teens head. It is unrealistic to tell them to NOT listen to, read or watch this kind of thing but its your job to talk with them about it.

Your kids may not be allowed to listen, read, or watch this kind of… at your house but what about at school, or with friends, or even on their iPods?

Teaching your kids to make smart choices rather than ordering them what to and not to listen/read/watch will earn more respect than just ordering them to not have that entertainment and it will also push them toward wanting it.

Teach your kids the important of honoring God in what they choose to be entertained by will go a lot further than just telling them NO.

A year and a half ago I sat in a meeting. The speaker is noted across the nation for his keen insight into world events and their impact on our interests, as believers. His predictions of what was to come for America were grim. They are grim unless an answer to our dilemma is provided. He looked across the room and said, “I believe that there are people who have the answer! I believe they will come forward!” I was there with a small group of believers. We wanted to stand up, just as Jesus did when scriptures were read foretelling of his coming. We wanted to stand and say, “This problem has been solved today; we have the solution!” We didn’t stand. Was that a mistake? I don’t know.

What I am sure of is that God has provided a storehouse with provisions for the famine that is in the land. What is the famine? In our great nation, goodness and godliness are missing… Instead there is godlessness: Godlessness in government; godlessness in our schools, in the media, in entertainment.

God doesn’t leave his people without a provision. He has provided a storehouse. His storehouse is readily available. What we take from the storehouse will, of course, as it always does, depend on when we visit it. If we go soon, it could be that the tide of godlessness will be turned. People measure the decline of nations in phases or cycles. Each cycle has its characteristics. The characteristics that are the hallmark of this generation show a nation in decline, serious decline. When a nation is in serious decline, the end quickly draws near. What hallmarks show that a nation is in a declining state of health? To mention a few: abortion, unbridled sexual activity, affirmation of deviant behaviors, etc.

Did you know that in recorded history there has never been a case of a nation in this serious state of decline that reversed its course and became healthy again? Our nation is speeding toward failing, collapsing economy, failed marriages and families; increasing godlessness everywhere. If our nation fails, there is no doubt that we will go to the storehouse. Perhaps if we go to the storehouse out of choice, early and in all seriousness, it may be that God will have mercy on our land. I wonder… might God honor the faith of our forefathers who founded this as a Christian nation and allow us to bring what is needed from the storehouse?

So, what is God’s storehouse? Why, it’s you. You may say, “Me? ME? You can’t be serious! I can’t do much.” That may be true. Each of us can only do a little. But, the combined ‘you’, all of us have this precious promise…

Scripture tells us that Christ’s divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (2 Peter 1:3) It doesn’t say he has given ‘me’, singular, or ‘you’ singular all we need, but he has give ‘us’ all we need. Scripture tells us that ‘we’ are the temple, we are the living stones of the spiritual temple. We are the temple, the storehouse! Through us, the church, the body of Christ, he intends to make his wisdom known. For such a day as this, we need his wisdom. And, as the Holy Spirit empowers and guides us, we are God’s plan-the body of Christ, is God’s plan to do the work of extending the Kingdom, pushing back the works of the enemy, delivering people from the kingdom of darkness, transferring them to the Kingdom of light. It is his plan that we are successful in the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations, including our own. (1 Cor. 3:16, I Peter 2:5, I Cor. 1:13, Matthew 28:19)

We see this drawing together of believers everywhere. Many of the gathering look more like salt in the salt shaker than a cohesive body assembling to do the work of the Kingdom.

This is changing ~ in North Central, Pennsylvania… There IS a plan! We are seeing that plan unfold where in ONE community, where ONE body of believers (all of the believers) are gathering and together learning the WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and HOW of extending the Kingdom. Together we are connecting to God, to each other and to the roles he has for each of us. We expect, in this one community to see ALL those who are not believers to hear about and ‘see’ Christ in the context of a loving relationship; we expect to see ALL believers offered a opportunity to connect and rebuild the walls in their own back yards – already many are saying “Yes, I will rebuild!” In coming together, we ARE God’s storehouse ~ the treasures of his provision are hidden, but his plan has always been that his many sided wisdom be revealed through his body, us!

If this can happen in one community ~ it can happen in every community.

You can listen to it Here.
This song has been wrecking my heart all last night into today. I was up until 6am just listening to this song for hours and hours.
My mind is officially blown.
I have finally come to the realization that GOD, the CREATOR of the World, the King of all Kings, the Holy One…He loves ME!
Yes its true…God loves me. God KNOWS me.
Have you ever just sat and thought about that?
We are just little humans, people riddled with wounds, and faults, and just human issues…and God finds us worthy of His affection.
I find it totally amazing. When God looks at me He doesn’t see a girl with wounds, or baggage, or a smart mouth or someone who struggles with pride sometimes…He sees me completely different.

He sees me as beautiful and lovely, and talented, anointed, gifted, loveable, and so many other things.

We see ourselves completely different than how God sees us. HE sees us as lovely despite our “stuff”.

It amazes me to no end how great, how big and how wide His love for us is.

He loved us so much He created us in His image! We are created in the image of Almighty God!

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”-Genesis 1:27

God knows the most intimate things there is to know about us. He takes the time to know us.

He doesn’t have to know us so intimately, but He chooses to.

There is War, Christian Persecution, Abortion, Murder and just ALL OUT CHAOS in the world, but He still has time to get to know us!

Blows my mind….
